Xane

Xane was a young hot shot tournament fighter. He quickly caught the eye of the organization. They sent a spy into his circuit to fall for, and she convinced him to join up. However, things didn't go as planned, neither for him or the Organization. Xane ended up being banished from the Organization and his newly acquired Oashi mark was torn from his possession.

Although his true Identity is unknown, his reputation as "The Mask" is infamous. He has killed more Emblem holders than any single fighter in the last 100 years.

A member of the Organization, Sid is the bottom feeder of the group. However while attempting to up his status in the group, Sid went ahead and decided to challenge a fighter without a scroll and lost not to that fighter, but to an outsider who could see them.

Ren

Part of a secret clan branch of the Toorimichi called the Suto-Kagumaru, Ren was attacked while out searching for the "Guardian" A fighter who was destined to lead all the Oashi holders in the final battle against evil. However, Ren lost his Oashi-mark in a unsanctioned surprise attack by Sid.

Joicin is an incarnation of one of the original vassals of the Great Kara Kage Musha, Kenji Gohai. Kenji was the leader of the five warriors who defeated the evil that plagued the Earth hundreds of years ago. Now Joicin frequently visits our realm when an reincarnation of his past leader resurfaces. He serves as a guide. However, last time Joicin watched over a reincarnated Guardian, the guardian was tragically killed in battle. As punishment, the Nigen only allowed Joicin to return to Earth to watch over the next Potential Guardian as a child's toy.

Shyanne is a Vassal of the Nigen who is reincarnated to look after descendents of both the Nigen clan and potential Guardians. She has been assigned to Xane in this lifetime but Xane doesn't feel he needs her help so he does everything in his power to avoid her.

Socrah, who's real name is Clevon Simmons was the leader of a street gang that terrorized the locals. Feeling that his life was in a spiral towards emptiness, he desperately wanted to change his ways after the death of his best friend in a gun battle with a rival gang. However as the leader of such a ruthless group, he feared his protege would seek revenge on him for leaving the gang. It wasn't until he happened across an organized street fighting tournament held by the Zetsumi clan, that Socrah entered and defeated his first Oashi holder. And with his new found power, he crushed his entire gang.

Kia and her younger sister Mai have been agents for the Organization for many years. They do the hard jobs that the average grunt couldn't accomplish, from industrial espionage, to assassinations. Her most recent work however is to track down Oashi holders and take their powers in the name of the Organization. She recruited Xane 3 years ago at the request of her boss, Marcus.

Mai

Mai followed her sister into the Organization, and now they are the most dangerous duo the Organization commands. She received her first solo assignment to track down a martial artist who interrupted Sid's attempt to steal another Emblem holders Oashi mark. Remembering her sister's last mission of this type three years ago, when Kia fell in love with the target. Mai is constantly telling herself that she will not let it happen to her.

The vicious leader of the Organization and self proclaimed guardian of the Oashi Sho Nigen, Marcus has set out to capture as much power as possible by fighting every Oashi mark holder his group comes across either it be Sanctioned with the appearance of a scroll or not.

A fair-weather fighter, Steve has been in the Nigen tournament for many years but hasn't won a battle since his first initial entry into the Oashi-Sho Nigen. He remains an Emblem holder soley because he has never loss to an individual who doesn't already have an Emblem, therefore he only loses chi not the Oashi mark itself. Because of his lower standing, the Nigen scrolls always match him up with those who are just beginning or those who are also lower in rank.

Randall

As hidden as his true powers, Randall wonders the Earth looking for his purpose, for both his strength and the ideal that he is not a god, but that there is some higher level. Ever since he defeated Chow-lun over a decade ago, and receiving Yon-sho, his dying words were muttered about an even greater power, "the Go-sho." Randall has dedicated his life to finding out if the legend of a higher level over Yon-sho truly exists. If so, it would once again present his life with meaning and an ambitious goal.

In her searches to gain more power, Azumi has allied herself with the notorious Organization. Although Most Emblem holders can't detect the presence of another Oashi holder, this is a power held by the Yon-sho. Because of this, Azumi has been key in the onslaught of unsuspecting Nigen members who have been ambushed and their Oashi's stolen.
